The good copy of persuasive essays is due tomorrow. About 18 kids have handed in their good copy so just a few need to hand it in. We have worked very hard to learn how to write an essay with an introduction that gives a strong statement and three detail paragraphs to support your statement and then ending with a concluding paragraph restating the statement and details. This is a very hard assignments - the kids have done very well with it.
Bikes bikes - I hope to have kids bring their bikes to school next Thursday. Not sure how it will work out but we will try. Monday, June 17th, we are riding our bikes to the Oval for Olympic Day. I will send home a notice asking permission for kids to bring their bikes and to see who might need some help getting a bike.
