Homework Clarification

Just a reminder that the Book in a Bag report homework is for Mrs. Black's Guided Reading group only. As well, the three novels are being reading only by Mrs. Black's, Mrs. Wallace's and Mrs. Craze's Guided Reading groups.

Bikes - it seems that according to our class survey all but 4 kids have bikes and bike helmets. I would like all students to ride their bikes to school on Thursday, June 6. We will be going for our first bike ride on June 6th - up to the dyke and as far as we go in 1. 5hours. All kids need a bike helmet - we are going to lend out some to kids who do not have bike helmets. It would be great if kids had a bike lock too but it is not necessary. Kids that do not have working bikes - the other students are going to lend out bikes to these students and I will bring my daughter's bikes as well. Please do not go and buy a bike or helmet. We have more than enough to go around. 

Bike riding schedule

Thursday, June 6 - first day - up to the dyke and towards Steveston

Thursday, June 13 - first day - up to the dyke and towards Terra Nova

Monday, June 17 - riding to the Oval for an all day field - Olympic Day at the Oval

Thursday, June 20 - riding on Cranberry Trail to Steveston and then on to the Dog Park at the end of 3 road(this may be too ambitious) 

Wednesday, June 26 - riding to Garry Point for our class year end BBQ and fun day at the beach
