I was right it was a busy day but awesome.
Students have a homework assignment to write a reflection paragraph about their learning time with Cook Elementary. I would like a "hamburger" paragraph - 1 introduction sentence (top bun) then 3 or more details(the fillings) - and then a concluding paragraph - the bottom bun. Paragraph can answer all or some of the following....
- did you like working with your Cook buddy?
- did you learn something - if so what?
- would you do this again?
Mr. Kishi and Mr. Lumb also received our letters today. We sat around in a circle and each student thanked both gentlemen and then described the favourite part of our field trip on April 9.
Again a reminder - all kids are reading for at least 20 minutes - we have 3 books on the go - some students but not all have finished all three novels.
Track - an important yellow notice came home today - we have no bus for Tuesday. All students need to be driven to the track. If you can drive kids please indicate so on the yellow notice and return to school asap. There are no district buses available on the rain out day on Tuesday, May 28.
