Feb. 26 Science Jam.
- please pick up students at 2:30 and proceed to Aberdeen - our location will be marked - we are on the second floor
Steves- second floor, in front of the fountain, central pillars and bridge

Parking will be awful - see note below.

3.  Parking - With 1200+ students descending on Aberdeen, parking will be a challenge!  Aberdeen and the Richmond School District have arranged for a shuttle bus to go back forth between Aberdeen and the Sexsmith Park & Ride.  Please share this with your parents.  The shuttle will run every ten minutes and I would strongly encourage parents who are arriving after work to use this option!  They'll get out of the parking lot a lot faster!

Schedule of the Day:

3:00  Students start arriving for Set up
4:00 Opening Ceremonies

  • 4:15 Science Jam Displays
  • Explore Exhibits

  • 6:00 Science World Show

  • 6:20 Closing Ceremonies

We hope to see all parents.

For this weekend....
All students need to research their background info and bring the background info to school. If students have color printers they could print some of their info at home.
We have spent all day today working on Science Jam and most kids are making great progress. Some students are having a hard time connecting their projects to science concepts - they need some support with this at home.
Next week students will have more class time to work - however, some students need extensive support to complete their work in class and may end up having to do work at home. Please ask your child where they are in the process and what they have to do this weekend. I will be making notes in each child's planner with "what" they have do this weekend. - so please check.

The projects are looking great.
