#Mystery Skype
We have had two successful Mystery Skype sessions. One with my Dad in Sechelt and one with William Davies Middle School in New Jersery. Tomorrow we are trying our third. Mystery Skype teaches kids about geography. They have to be able to read the map of North America. For some this is a challenge!
TED TALKS
So far all of our presentations have been amazing. The student projects are all very different on very different subject matter but every presentation has been amazing. I am so impressed the kids as they talk to the rest of the class. They have all done a great job. Bravo Div. 3.
Math Quiz - Next Week on Wednesday.
Grade 5 - estimating, rounding and long division, money
Grade 6 - equations, expression, divisibility rules, multiples, LCM, factors, GCF, prime and composite numbers.
Steveston Field Trip.
I am sorry I have cancelled the field trips the last 2 weeks as we have to get through our presentations. I plan to walk into Steveston Friday, March 14. We need 5 parent volunteers to help with the field trip. We will stay in Steveston until the end of lunch and then walk back to class. We will eat our lunch at Steveston Park -unless it is pouring rain.
