2. Jump Math 6.2 221, 222, 223         5.2 234, 235, 236 Due Thursday
3. Mrs. Black's Guided Reading-Due Monday Jan. 13. Wonder, New Words, read chapters 1 & 2
4. Mrs. Wallace's Reading Group - Read So B. It to chapter 10 for Monday Jan. 13 
5. Math Quiz on Friday - 10 questions all based on work in class - no need to study

Masks

   We will be making paper mache masks in Fine Arts. We will also be exploring the history of masks. Each child will choose a type of mask

1. enterainment/performance
2. protection/sports/war
3. ritual/ceremonial
4. disguise/war/punative

Several of the children are interested in researching gas masks and death masks. They have my permission to choose either of these masks, but they must get your/parent permission as well. Please email me @ mblack@sd38.bc.ca to confirm that your child has permission to choose either of these mask types.

• 20/20=4/4=exceeding expectations EE
• 15/20-19/20=3/4= fully meeting expectations=ME
• 11/20-14/20=2/4= minimally meeting expectations=MME
• 10/20 and below=1/4=not yet meeting expectations=NYM
