Update

Welcome to our new student Riki.
Riki is in grade 6. He has come to us from Japan. Today he shared he experiences with the Tsuanami. Very interesting. The students have welcomed him with open arms.

We have begun learning about geometry. Student are learning how to measure and draw angles. We are also working on our power points about child labor. There is no assigned homework but as always we expect children to be reading every night.

If students wish they can review angles on Khan Academy and attempt some of the exercises. As well remember the 20 questions you can complete on ixl. Grade 6's could review integers and grade 5s review rounding and estimating strategies.

Camp next week for grade 6s - remember to get everything ready for camp. School is as usual for grade 5s when the grade 6s are at camp.

Thanks
Mrs. Wallace
