Today we divided the kids into 4 groups. The grade 5s worked with Ms.Cheng - our classroom volunteer - who was a teacher candidate at our school last year - the grade 6 s worked with Mrs. Wallace. We reviewed converting mixed numbers to fractions and then mixed numbers to fractions. We reviewed multiplying decimal numbers by 10, 100 and 1000.
Homework - grade 6 - p. 68. 69, and 70 ( I believe most students finished in class)
Group 1- grade 6s - Mrs Wallace wrote homework in your agenda.
Group 2 - grade 6s - have 20 board questions to complete.
Group 3 - grade 6s - have p. 8 = a handout to complete = multiplying by .1 .01 and .001
Diorama's are coming along - students have two more class periods to complete the dioramas. Dioramas are due next Monday. Look for the diorama to come home to finish up on Wednesday after school.
