It has been a very busy week. The students did an excellent job at the band concerts yesterday. Today we practised our song for the Christmas concert next Weds.
Homework
- practice the song = learn the words.
Science Jam was introduced today. The students have a package to show parents. The students have partners and have to come up with their proposal by next Friday. The proposal was sent home for parent to look at but it needs to come back for kids to work on in class next week.
Our Christmas craft this week - terracotta bells - went well. All students have their bells in their backpacks. The bells are very fragile. It was interesting seeing the kids listen to and follow very specific directions. Painting with 28 kids on a Friday afternoon was very interesting.
All students should be finished reading White Jade Tiger by Tuesday.
Thanks again to all the parents who drove our students down to Chinatown on Tuesday. It was a wet day but the students had a blast.
Looking forward to another busy week.
